Sponsoring has an essential role within the organisation of the EC in Eindhoven. It is thanks to the help of various sponsors and suppliers that we are able to ensure the success of the EC. The policy is such that sponsorship is related to the central emotions of swimming as a sport. These emotions have been defined as: Top sport; Healthy, clean and sustainable; Safe and trustworthy; and Fun for All. The EC is a unique opportunity for sponsors to profile themselves with these key emotions in the Dutch and European markets. There will be plenty of media coverage during the EC- for many hours of television. A lot of attention will be paid to the EC in other ways giving extra exposure for sponsors and suppliers. Hospitality arrangements will also be possible- sponsors can invite customers and relations to the EC.
