The Pieter van den Hoogenband Swim Stadium

 

The Pieter van den Hoogenband Zwemstadion in Eindhoven is well known for it's Innovation and the latest Technology. The stadium features a (10-lane) 50 metre pool and a flexible (8-lane) 25 metre pool (depth 5 meters), including all diving facilities.

Adjacent to the main swimming hall the Pieter van den Hoogenband Swimming Stadium Eindhoven has a 4-lane 50 metre training pool, a “dry-jump” diving facility with trampolines to do “slow motion” exercises and a whirlpool for the divers. Inside the complex there is another 6-lane 25 metre pool. The swimming centre contains 13,5 million litre water. The Pieter van den Hoogenband swimstadium has 3,000 seats en is ready to be the host for the European Swimmers. In 2008 the EC were organized in Eindhoven. It is clear that the PVD stadium is ideal for swimming competition at the highest level.
